2XKO is a free-to-play 2v2 fighting game. I led design and implementation 2XKO SFX for the menu, UI, HUD, lobby, store, transitions, emotes, avatars, foleys, stickers, announcer VO implementation and character skins.
The first video above showcases the pre-game and gameplay HUD. It includes all UI SFX, pre-game character select, banners, transitions, Vi’s intro, and the gameplay HUD. I focused on sound design that delivers a strong fighting game atmosphere while making every button press feel impactful and satisfying for the player.



Menu/Lobby

One of my main responsibilities during the development of 2XKO was designing the sound for the Lobby. I proactively identified areas that required audio support and executed them independently.
While the core gameplay is competitive and intense, our goal for the Lobby was to create a unique space where players could feel relaxed, peaceful, and cozy—while also building community through interaction and match spectating.
The video features all Lobby UI SFX, Lobby Announcer VO implementation, the mini-game (soda can), and animated stickers. My sound design helps establish a distinctive atmosphere where players can unwind and genuinely enjoy spending time between matches.



Technical Sound System

I also collaborated closely with technical sound designers and engineers to build a robust audio system across the Menu and Lobby. Key features include: RTPC intensity-based ducking for Lobby UI views, state-based mixing for Spectate Mode, a cosmetic item–driven foley sound system, and perspective-based mixing for Spectate Mode.
These systems elevated the overall player experience and brought the game’s audio to a new level of polish and immersion.
